Gift Aid
As a registered charity (no: 279644), WIESA can claim at least 25% back from the government on every sponsorship donation, without it costing you a penny extra.
For example, if you give £10 towards WIESA's Building Appeal, and you Gift Aid your donation, the Inland Revenue will add at least £2.50, bringing the total donation to at least £12.50.
Notes
You can cancel your declaration at any time by notifying us.
You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations in the tax year (at least 25p for each £1 you give).
If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains that is equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel your declaration.
If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Please notify us if you change your name or home address.
Please note that we can only reclaim tax on donations made from a personal bank or building society account. We cannot claim Gift Aid on donations made from company accounts.
This funding will be sought through a variety of ways - some local authority funding but the predominantly through fundraising and community support and donations.
Please join us in the "Helping to help you..." WIESA action to raise funds by becoming a member, holding a fundraising event or making a donation.
