HELP US TO SUPORT OTHERS

Stay up to date

The West Indian Ex-Servicemen and Women’s Association (WIESA) is a registered charity (No.279644), based in Clapham in south west London.

Established in 1972, WIESA was created to offer support to West Indian ex–servicemen and women as well as to today’s serving personnel in the United Kingdom.

Our raison d’etre arose as a result of the legacy left by the 16,000 men who volunteered to fight for Britain in the First World War and the 10,000 service men and women who answered the call of the 'Mother Country' during the Second World War. Thousands more served as merchant seamen.
